Hellurrr, Thanks for stoping by!
My name is Gila Aliza Skelly and I am a Twenty-something, Afro-Caribbean Brooklyn Native (BedStuy..yurr).
Fun Facts About me:
Now, let me walk you through my site, here you will find, my blog full of stories for the culture, all is welcome to read. The concept started out as a class assignment where I had to take the lessons and apply it to real life. Then I took a dash of Cajun spice and added my own twist to it. Keep in mind when you do read, though it is from my shoes, it is easy to place yourself in it. I try to make my articles relatable in the sense that it doesn't matter how you identify yourself - it can happen to you as well, because LIFE does not discriminate. I like to discuss things that people do not talk about outside their group, dare to speak, or forget to mention. My articles vary from financial advice to relationship/dating fiascos.
You'll also find my portfolio with some of my design, merchandising, styling and digital work! I encourage you to never stop daydreaming and to always push through with your ideas or goals. Picasso did say "Everything you imagine is real." And remember Ursula Leguin once said, " The creative adult is the child who survive."
This is where we depart on our adventure and I leave you take a journey through my site. I would love for you to leave feedback at the end of your destination in the "Contact Me” form.
You are welcome to keep coming back here to see new content. However, a better option is to subscribe to my newsletter! You will get updates on new posts and special content that is only available to my subscribers.
